Postnatal Doula

Mama Jojo
Jojo Heather-Hammonds
As a postnatal doula I offer emotional, practical and informational support to families welcoming a new baby into their home, whether it be the first, second or tenth child.

The fourth trimester is a term describing the period after birth where a baby transitions to life outside the womb, but it is also a period of transition for the woman or birthing person into parenthood.

During this unique period, a postpartum doula can help you to get a more enjoyable experience, by creating an opportunity for the mother or birthing person to rest and recover from giving birth, be nourished and cared for while she/they nurtures the newborn. A doula can also help navigate the sometimes daunting decisions and emotions of motherhood, using a non-judgmental approach.

Tongue Tie Practitioner

Happy Bubba Tongue Tie
Caron Newton
Is feeding your baby becoming a struggle? Are you exhausted by painful feeds, an unsettled baby, reflux symptoms or the feeling that something just isn't quite right?
You're not alone, and you deserve to feel heard and supported.
I'm Caron, founder of Happy Bubba. As an experienced midwife, health visitor and specialist tongue-tie practitioner, I'm passionate about helping babies and their families navigate feeding challenges with confidence.
At Happy Bubba, I believe there's so much more to tongue-tie care than just a cut.
Feeding difficulties can have many contributing factors, and releasing a tongue-tie alone isn't always the complete answer.
That's why I look at the whole baby, exploring feeding, suck function, oral movement, tension and other possible underlying difficulties.
I offer comprehensive tongue-tie assessments and divisions, breastfeeding and bottle-feeding support, tailored exercises, feeding plans, bodywork recommendations and post-division rehabilitation.
My aim is to help you understand why your baby is struggling, not simply address the symptoms, while providing the reassurance, practical guidance and ongoing support you both deserve.
Because feeding your baby shouldn't feel like a constant battle.
More than just a cut – understanding the whole baby, supporting the whole family.

Natalie is a Hertford based family osteopath with specialist training to support babies, children and postnatal mums. She offers pregnancy body work support, Mummy MOT post-natal assessments, pelvic floor checks, tummy gap assessments, postural screenings and cesarean scar therapy, helping women feel stronger, more comfortable and more confident in their bodies before and after birth. As a mum of two herself, Natalie understands first-hand the incredible changes our bodies go through during pregnancy, birth, recovery and beyond. Mindset, Mimi & Me
Shilpa Jamieson
Parent coach and mindset and emotions educator - helping families build calm, confidence and connection, together.
Is your child's big emotions leaving you overwhelmed, or unsure how to help them without losing your own calm?
I'm Shilpa, parent coach and mindset and emotions educator. I help emotionally overwhelmed parents and parents of sensitive, big-feeling kids (5-16) feel more confident navigating big emotions, building their child's confidence and resilience, and creating more calm and connection at home.
As a mum of two, I bring professional training as a coach of 15 years and lived experience - plus story, art and creativity, to bring mindset and emotional learning to life for kids, not just tools for meltdown moments.

Clinical Psychologist & EMDR Therapist

Dr Maria Tucknott Clinical Psychologist & EMDR Therapist
Maria Tucknott
I'm a Clinical Psychologist & EMDR therapist, specialising in the emotional impact of difficult or traumatic birth experiences.
I’m a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist and accredited EMDR therapist, specialising in birth trauma and the emotional impact of difficult or traumatic birth experiences.
I work with women who are struggling after giving birth and simply don’t feel like themselves since having their baby. You may find yourself replaying what happened, feeling on edge, avoiding reminders of your birth, struggling with difficult memories, or simply feeling overwhelmed by emotions that you can’t quite make sense of. You may have also had a previous pregnancy loss and are finding the prospect of a new pregnancy (or simply being pregnant again) difficult.
I use the leading evidence based treatment for trauma which is EMDR Therapy. Where appropriate, I integrate this with IFS Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.
My aim is to provide a warm and confidential space where you can talk openly about what happened, without judgement. Together, we can begin to make sense of your experiences, develop new ways of coping and work towards feeling more like yourself again so that you can enjoy being with your baby and look to the future without fear. Therapy with me will help you feel better and stay better for longer.
One of the reasons I am so passionate about the work that I do is because I’ve been there. I have experienced my own difficult life events, especially in recent years. These experiences have given me a deeper understanding of what it is like to struggle with your mental health and how crucial it is to find the right therapist to help you navigate this path and come through to the other side feeling better.
I offer face-to-face therapy from my dedicated consulting room in Hertford, as well as online therapy across the UK. If you’re struggling after a difficult birth and feel that what happened is still affecting you, then please get in touch!
